「絵空事」は、伊丹工芸センターの依頼により、同館が所有する吹き抜け空間「サンクンガーデン」で開催した展示会です。長年実現したかった空を借景にした展覧会です。吹き抜けた天面にテグスを張り、ワイヤーで描いた絵を固定。流れる雲や季節や物語を作品に取り込んだ意欲的なインスタレーション展示。述べ3000人が訪れた。
This exhibition “ESORAGOTO” was commissioned by the Itami Craft Center and was held in the Sunken Garden, an atrium space owned by the center. It is an exhibition that uses the sky as a borrowed landscape, which I have wanted to realize for many years. The ceiling of the atrium was covered with tegus, and pictures drawn with wire were fixed in place. This ambitious installation exhibition incorporated flowing clouds, seasons and stories into the work. A total of 3,000 people visited the exhibition.
